Choose a style and the dates you want to show. The preview below is the actual embed.
Some website builders remove iframes or restrict external embeds. If yours does, link to the live SAT countdown instead. A site with a Content Security Policy must allow https://satwhen.com in its frame-src policy.
The generated height leaves room for the dates, timer labels, source, and attribution. If you change the height, check that all of the content remains visible on a narrow screen and when text is enlarged.
Test day: the next published SAT Weekend date that has not ended in the viewer’s local time zone. The countdown reaches zero at the start of that date and displays a test-day message until the day ends. It does not replace the arrival instructions on an admission ticket.
Student scores: the next published student score release date that has not ended locally. The widget shows which test produced those scores. Its midnight target marks the beginning of the release date; it does not promise that scores will appear at midnight.
Tests and score releases are chosen independently. After a test, the upcoming score release may belong to that completed test while the next SAT countdown has moved ahead. Unpublished score dates are not estimated.
Dates are sourced from College Board’s test schedule and student score release schedule. The widget displays the date SAT When last verified its data.
The embed runs separately from your page’s styles, includes light and dark themes, and uses text labels for its timers. It does not load analytics, store preferences, or require visitors to sign in. The optional branded credit uses a nofollow link.
For a static reference in a student handout, cite the SAT test date table and its verification date. For a student choosing between tests, the SAT date planner compares score timing and creates a downloadable calendar.

Yes. It chooses the next SAT Weekend date from the schedule maintained by SAT When. It loads that schedule when opened and checks for updates every six hours while open. After the current test date ends in the viewer’s time zone, it moves to the next published test date.
It counts down to midnight at the start of the displayed date in the viewer’s local time zone. That is a calendar-day countdown, not a test-center arrival time or an exact score-release time. On the displayed date it says the test or release day is today.
The standalone widget does not load analytics scripts, set cookies, or use browser storage. It fetches the public SAT schedule and runs the countdown in the browser. Like any website embed, its requests reach the hosting service.
The widget selects them independently. Students may still be waiting for scores from a completed SAT while another test is the next one on the calendar. Each score countdown identifies the test date it belongs to.
The SAT When widget is a small, reusable date tool for students and educators. It draws on the same published schedule as this site and moves through dates automatically. It covers SAT Weekend, not SAT School Day.
